Water doesn’t get enough credit for all of the hard work it does to keep your mouth healthy and fresh. Water is your best friend for these reasons:

Mouth

Water is great for preventing bad breath. One of the most common causes of bad breath is dehydration. When your mouth doesn’t have enough saliva, bacteria will thrive and causes the bad breath we all hate.

Water is one of the most useful tools for keeping your teeth clean in between brushings. It is great for washing away food and liquids that can damage your teeth. It is not a replacement for brushing and flossing, but it definitely helps.

Body

Water is great for keeping you cool. You can drink it, spray it, pour it all over yourself, or even jump in it. There is really no bad way to use water to cool you down.

When you’re dehydrated, your skin can become more prone to cracking and wrinkling. Water rejuvenates and hydrates your skin.

 

Need refreshment but are watching your figure? Drink water! Water is a great calorie free way to quench your thirst. You can drink it sparkling, iced or plain; any way is healthy for you.
